Tae Geuk's After School Tae Kwon Do Programs for Kids

Tae Geuk's After School Taekwondo Program is a great alternative to traditional afterschool care. Tae Geuk's NCCP certified instructors not only encourage a much-needed balance between living a healthy life style but also provides the opportunity to be in a positive environment learning the basic fundamentals of taekwondo alongside children their age. The level of success our instructors, assistant instructors, and athletes have achieved in the local community, province and across Canada cannot be compared to any other program in the area.

What makes Tae Geuk's After School Tae Kwon Do Program different, you may ask?

This program has been designed to assist parents with the tough job of giving your child the tools and skills needed to overcome their daily obstacles. Whether it be getting bullied at school, peer pressure from friends, a lack of focus on schoolwork, low self-esteem or confidence issues; this program aims at self-improvement through the principles taekwondo.

Each day children will have the chance to be confident in the skills that they are learning while having an outlet to which they can utilize their energy. Instructors emphasize the importance of a healthy mind and body through daily martial art classes and themed leadership activities.

What ages can enroll into Tae Geuk's Before and After School Tae Kwon Do Program?

This program is available for children between the ages of 5 to 12.

What does the Tae Geuk's After School Tae Kwon Do Program offer?

Students are picked up daily upon conclusion of their school day and transported to our facility where they eat their snacks provided by their parents before commencing in their age specific taekwondo lessons.

Please note that this program is not a daycare or provide any form of babysitting services. Our program is first and foremost about quality martial arts instruction done through physical fitness and the passing down of philosophical teachings of taekwondo (technical taekwondo).

Professional Development Days, Early Dismissals, Spring Break, and Summer Camps are not included as part of Tae Geuk's Tae Kwon Do Before and After School Program.
