Tae Kwon Do has always tried to teach both the mastery of martial arts as well as the grace that comes along with combat. With this ancient art, it strives to teach alongside self defense, the characteristics of humility, grace and integrity.

For the past 20 years, Tae Geuk Tae Kwon Do has been passing along the years of experience and mastery to its students with commitment and hard work in the Lower Mainland. The staff at Tae Geuk Tae Kwon Do have an impressive resume that consists of training the Canadian Olympic team, training the Canadian National Team as well as a total combined experience of 40 years.

Master Instructor Shin Wook Lim, who is the owner of Tae Geuk Tae Kwon Do, continues to bring his own passion to the martial arts through his dedication to the students that attend the school. He approaches each student with full expectation of going beyond all boundaries that may hinder them to reach their true potential. Master Lim has been involved with the martial arts since he was 7 years old. Master Lim holds many accreditations and medals, such as the Canadian National Champion, that give him the recognition of all the years he has served in this ancient art.
