Ivett Gonda began to study under Master Lim when she was just 8 years old in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She did not foresee a passion for the martial arts that would lead her to contend in over 20 prestigious competitions, many in which she ranked very highly. Under Master Lim's guidance and training, Ivett has been able to rise above her own expectations and truly be a force to be reckoned with.

Competing nationally, Ivett has won the Gold Medal 10 times, ranging from events such as the Senior Nationals to the Olympic Weight Event. She continues to fight in International competitions that range from the Olympic Games itself to the World Championships, even winning the Gold in 2004 in Mexico during the Pan Am Olympic Qualifications.

Most recently, the highlight of her career happened in Athens, Greece where she came in 5th place in the 2004 Olympic Games. With so many competitions and awards under her belt, Ivett aspires to win the Gold Medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Ivett is currently a student living in BC and continues to train with Master Lim at Tae Geuk Tae Kwon Do, located in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.
