A resounding chant that echoes through the world renowned Do-jang (gym) of Taegeuk Taekwondo, after a positive training session. As I watched the senior national competitors practice their moves with a calm focus, I can tell that their mindset is of a healthy one. A mindset that speaks not of the desperate "I need to win", but more of the relaxed "I don't have to lose".

Seeing the students have a go at their daily grind is like poetry in motion. A harmonic piece of planned movements that results in their own unique formula. A fighting formula that they will carry with them this Saturday and Sunday at Minoru Arenas at Richmond, where the National Taekwondo competitions are going to be held.

Catch the action! Fighters from all over Canada will compete at Minoru Arenas, 7551 Minoru Gate at Richmond. Tickets are $10.
